²² Their father Ephraim was filled with sorrow for many days. And his brothers came to comfort him. ²³ Then he went in to his wife and she was able to have a child and gave birth to a son. Ephraim gave him the name Beriah, because trouble had come upon his house. ²⁴ Beriah’s daughter was Sheerah. She built both parts of Beth-horon, and Uzzen-sheerah.
